Samsung Galaxy S9 Real Life images Leaked; Reveals Higher Screen Ratio

South Korean giant Samsung flagship S8 series was very well received with its new infinity display and top-notch specs. The successor of the S8 series, the S9, is reported to come early in January or February. It’s rumored that Samsung will unveil this model at CES 2018. The S9+ was even spotted on Geekbench. Several leaked renders have suggested the phone’s design, but we need not wait for more as the first real-life images of the Samsung S9 have surfaced on the web.

The pictures were shared by a Twitter user who goes by the name @venyagaskin1 and also has a good track record of unveiling renders and photos before the release. Not only that but another set of pictures was also revealed on Twitter by another Chinese tipster with the username @UnverseIce.

At first look, the device looked like an evolved version of the S8. The Bezels are thinner on the top and have no bezel at the bottom (except for the on-screen buttons), which looks sick. The S9 is speculated to have a screen ratio of up to 90%. The full-screen display is curved and fits very comfortably in hand. There is no fingerprint sensor on the front, which confirms the previous leaks of having the fingerprint sensor at the back.

According to the rumors and leaks, both the S9 and the S9+ will be powered by the Exynos 9 Series 9810, while the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset will power the global variant. The S9 is supposed to pack 4 GB of RAM, while the S9+ is expected to have 6 GB of RAM. There will be 64 GB of internal storage with a micro SD slot, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and AKG stereo speakers. The devices will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo. The devices offer a rear camera setup stacked in a vertical arrangement. The front camera is rumored to have an iris scanner and will support facial recognition features.
