Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 FE is shaping up to be a familiar FE formula with a few notable changes. A leaked specification sheet shared by German publication WinFuture.de reportedly reveals the phone’s display, Exynos 2500 chipset, camera hardware, battery capacity, connectivity options, and dimensions ahead of its expected launch.
The Galaxy S26 FE is expected to join the Galaxy S26 family in the second half of 2026. Rather than matching the latest flagship hardware across the board, Samsung appears to be combining a previous-generation processor and camera setup with a design that closely follows the current S26 series.
The leaked model is expected to be offered in Graphite, Pistachio, and Blueberry finishes, giving the FE a distinct color lineup while maintaining consistency with Samsung’s flagship design language.

6.7-inch AMOLED display targets 1,900 nits
The Galaxy S26 FE reportedly features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 2340 x 1080-pixel resolution. The panel can refresh at up to 120Hz, which should provide the expected smooth scrolling and animation in everyday use.
Brightness is listed at up to 1,200 nits under typical conditions, while the panel can reportedly reach 1,900 nits in high-brightness mode. That should make the screen easier to read outdoors, although sustained brightness will depend on ambient conditions and Samsung’s display behavior.
The resolution remains Full HD+, rather than moving to the higher pixel density used by some larger flagship Galaxy models. For an FE device, that is a reasonable trade-off for power consumption and cost.
Exynos 2500 powers the Galaxy S26 FE
One of the biggest hardware details in the leak is Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset. The same processor is used in Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 7, giving the S26 FE a processor that sits behind the newer silicon expected in the main Galaxy S26 lineup.
The Exynos 2500 reportedly features a 10-core CPU with clock speeds reaching 3.3GHz. It is paired with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.
That combination should be sufficient for normal smartphone workloads, including multitasking, gaming, and demanding camera processing. The bigger question will be how the Exynos 2500 performs compared to the newer chipsets in Samsung’s flagship S26 models.
For buyers expecting the FE to deliver flagship-level performance at a lower price, the processor is likely to be one of the most important areas to watch once independent testing becomes available.
Triple camera setup keeps the FE formula intact
Samsung is reportedly sticking with a three-camera system on the back of the Galaxy S26 FE.
The primary camera uses a 50-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and hardware image stabilization. It is joined by an ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom at f/2.4.
The telephoto camera could be particularly useful compared with phones that rely entirely on digital zoom. However, the relatively modest 8MP resolution means image quality at higher magnifications will still depend heavily on Samsung’s processing.
For video, the rear cameras reportedly support 8K recording at up to 30 frames per second, while 4K recording can reach 60fps.
On the front, the Galaxy S26 FE is said to use a 12MP f/2.2 camera. Unlike some higher-end Galaxy models, the selfie camera reportedly lacks autofocus.
4,900mAh battery and 45W charging
The leaked specification sheet lists a 4,900 mAh battery with support for wired charging up to 45W. Samsung is reportedly targeting up to 50 hours of typical runtime, although real-world endurance will depend on display brightness, network conditions, and workload.
The battery is also said to be rated for 1,200 charge cycles under EPREL classification. The leaked information points toward a silicon-carbon battery, although that detail should be treated as unconfirmed until Samsung officially publishes the hardware specifications.
The capacity itself is not dramatically larger than previous FE models, so Samsung appears to be relying on the processor, software, and battery chemistry rather than simply increasing capacity.
Connectivity and durability
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and dual nano-SIM support. The phone is also expected to support one or two eSIM profiles, depending on the configuration and market.
An IP68 rating should provide protection against dust and water exposure, putting the Galaxy S26 FE closer to Samsung’s mainstream flagship phones than many similarly priced devices.
The leaked dimensions are 7.4mm thick, with a weight of 193 grams. That puts the phone in a fairly conventional range for a 6.7-inch device.
Galaxy S26 FE price could be its biggest problem
Samsung is reportedly preparing a recommended retail price of € 799 for the Galaxy S26 FE. If that figure is accurate, the FE could face a tougher value proposition than previous generations.
According to the leaked pricing comparison cited by WinFuture, the Galaxy S26 Plus is already available for around €700 in some markets. The Plus model offers more storage, a higher-resolution display, and more advanced camera hardware, making the price gap difficult to ignore.
That changes the FE’s role. Instead of simply being the obvious lower-cost entry into Samsung’s flagship ecosystem, the Galaxy S26 FE could become a phone that needs aggressive retail discounts to make sense.
The hardware itself is familiar: a 120Hz AMOLED panel, Exynos 2500 performance, a 50MP main camera, 3x optical zoom, and a 4,900mAh battery. Whether those specifications can justify an €799 launch price may ultimately depend less on the spec sheet and more on how quickly the Galaxy S26 FE drops below its recommended price once it reaches retailers.
