Samsung’s mid-range flagship Galaxy S21 FE is said to enter production in July. It could go official at the Unpacked event that is expected to be scheduled on August 19. So, we will have to wait a while before it becomes reality. We have learned quite a bit about the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE smartphone over the past few weeks. Amid numerous leaks about the forthcoming FE S21, we have spotted the Galaxy S21 FE’s model SM-G990B on the TUV Rheinland certification database.
The TUV Rheinland listing reveals that Galaxy S21 FE will have 25W (9V/2.77A) fast charging support. Earlier, it was reported that the device will house a 4500mAh battery, and now we have evidence that it will support 25W fast charging.
Unfortunately, the TUV Rheinland listing doesn’t reveal more about the phone. Recently, the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has appeared on Geekbench, which fortunately has revealed some key details. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset and 8GB of RAM. It boots the Android 11 operating system out of the box.
Other rumored features of Galaxy S21 FE include a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate support, an in-display fingerprint reader, and a 32MP selfie camera. We will likely see a triple rear camera system consisting of a 12MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide, and 8MP telephoto lens. The S21 FE is said to arrive in White, Light Violet, Light Green, and Gray color options.
This is all the information we know about the Galaxy S21 FE, but we’ll surely learn more about the handset in the coming weeks.
