There have been several leaks about an upcoming M series smartphone from Samsung since November. We are talking about the Samsung Galaxy M62. This device has popped up in various leaks and rumors, and there have been multiple instances where we have had information about the device’s specifications. However, there was no information about a possible launch date.
That has finally changed now, as recently, the handset’s support page just went live on Samsung India’s website with model SM-M625F/DS. And the smartphone has not even launched yet. This only means that the launch is happening in a few days, and we will finally get this rumored Galaxy M series in the Indian market soon.
Leaks suggest that the M62 will be a rebranded version of the F62, but nothing can back up this information. Samsung might change a few things to make both devices distinguishable. As for the specs, we only have leaked so far. The leaks suggest that the Samsung Galaxy M62 will feature the Exynos 9825 chip along with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. We will get 4G connectivity, along with all the basics, which include WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and USB Type-C. Most people would go for this device due to its battery size, though. It is rumored to feature a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
The Samsung Galaxy F62 is scheduled to launch in India on the 15th of February. Will the F62 actually be just like the M62? We will have to wait and see.
