Samsung plans to launch a new M series smartphone in the Indian market. The M series from Samsung is popular in India, and Samsung will try to make the most of it by launching a new mid-range 5G smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy M42 5G. Until now, the M series from Samsung has always been about 4G connectivity. This will be the first 5G device under the M series from Samsung.
Some reports claim that the device will retain the design from the A42 that was launched globally. But it will add some M series taste to it. Much like other M series Samsung smartphones, we can expect a massive 6,000 mAh battery and quad-camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary sensor. This upcoming M series smartphone from Samsung has already surfaced in BIS and received Wi-Fi Alliance certification and Bluetooth SIG certification.
Besides 5G connectivity, this will also be the first Samsung M series smartphone with Knox Security. It is an extra-protective layer in some Samsung phones that protects users’ sensitive data from malicious and malware attacks. Inside the Samsung Galaxy M42, we will see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G, and for RAM, we will probably see two variants with 6GB and 8GB as options.
The expected price of this upcoming Samsung M series smartphone will likely be in the price bracket of 20,000 – 25,000 INR, IANSLive reports. It will be available for purchase from Amazon and Samsung’s official website. There is no specific date known for the launch of this smartphone, but we can expect Samsung to launch this smartphone this month itself.
