After the Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 manual, the Galaxy A8 and Galaxy A8+ manual appeared on the manufacturer’s website, which hints the device launch is at the door. As per previous reports, Samsung will adopt an A8 and A8+ naming scheme instead of sticking with A3, A5, or A7 (2018) model titles.
The manual displayed four model numbers: SM-A530F, SM-A530F/DS, SM-A730F and SM-A730F/DS. The Galaxy A8 and A8 + (2018) bear the model numbers SM-A530 and SM-A730 respectively. DS stands for the Dual SIM variant.
Manual shows us the Galaxy A8/A8+ 2018 Smartphone design in 18: 9 format. The fingerprint reader sits below the rear camera, which is easily reachable by customers. The loudspeaker is placed right above the power button. Since the device has dual front cameras, the camera app will use the Live Focus feature for selfies. We expect a 16-megapixel sensor on the front. Bixby (with Bixby Vision) is also on the device, but unlike the Galaxy S8 and Note 8, the new A8 series devices won’t have a “Bixby button.”

We have also learned that both phones will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, come in single and dual-SIM variants, and support Samsung Pay over NFC and MST. As rumored, the Galaxy A8+ 2018 comes with a 6-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display with slim bezels and 2220x1080p resolution and is powered by a 2.2GHz Exynos 7885 octa-core processor. The device packs a dual camera set up on the front coupled with a 16MP and 8MP camera. On the back, the device will feature a 16 MP rear camera. The device has a MicroSD slot, 3.500 mAh battery, and fast charging. There will be 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB).
