Samsung Galaxy A53 will likely feature the upcoming Exynos 1200 chipset

Samsung may have begun development on its upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 smartphone, as the device has already started to appear on the certification website. Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy A53 will be a mid-range device. The device has now been spotted on the Geekbench certification, revealing some of the device’s key specifications. Checking the specifications listed on the Geekbench certification, it appears to be a promising device. Let’s take a closer look at the device’s certificate.

Geekbench certifications have revealed a new Samsung device with the model number SM-A536U. The model number indicates that it is the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A53 device. The device has a 690 single-core score and an 1846 multi-core score. Given that it is an upcoming mid-range device, the scores appear impressive. Furthermore, the certifications indicate that the device may boot up on the latest Android 12 version with One UI 4.0 on top.

The device is driven by an unidentified Exynos chipset with the model number “s5e8825.” The processor has six CPU cores that run at 2.40 GHz. The remaining two cores are clocked at 2.00 GHz. The upcoming Samsung Exynos 1200 chipset heavily influences the chipset’s specifications. The ARM Mali-G68 GPU handles the graphics and gaming functions. The device has also been spotted with 6GB of RAM, confirming that a 6GB RAM version will be available. However, it is still unclear whether it will be the base variant.

It is also worth noting that a recent report claims that Samsung has begun manufacturing the A53 device in India. This indicates that we are not far from hearing an official confirmation of the Galaxy A53 device’s imminent release. The device could have a front-facing FHD+ AMOLED display, a plastic build, a 64MP quad rear camera, a 16 or 32MP front-facing camera, and a 5000mAh battery with up to 25W fast charging support. The device’s CAD renders (via Digit) also reveal that it will have a 6.5-inch punch-hole FHD+ display with a 120Hz high refresh rate and a thickness of 8.13mm. Compared to the Galaxy A52, the overall appearance of the device will be very similar.
