As we inch closer to the Galaxy A22 5 G’s launch, details surrounding the handset are emerging at an increasing pace. We have already seen the A22 5 G’s renders along with some of its key specs. Now, the latest leak may have just given us European pricing.
Today, we have spotted the upcoming Galaxy A22 5G on a retailer’s website in Europe, which reveals its pricing. The listing shows that the Galaxy A22 5G will be priced at €185, possibly for the 64GB variant. Sadly, the retail listing hasn’t revealed much about the smartphone.
The device was listed without a VAT rate. So, if we include the VAT rate (different VAT rates in different parts of Europe), the starting price of Galaxy A22 5G could be between €199 and €229 for the base variant. So, it will likely be the company’s cheapest 5G phone. The Galaxy A32 5G currently holds that title at an already low €279 (launch price). The company is slowly releasing more affordable 5G phones in the market.
Talking about low-cost 5G smartphones in the European market, the Poco M3 Pro 5G price starts at €179, and the Realme 8 5G comes with a price tag of €199. So, to compete with Poco M3 Pro 5G and Realme 8 5G, Samsung should bring A22 5G at a price of less than €200.
As far as specs are concerned, A22 5G will come with a 6.4-inch FHD+ LCD panel, triple cameras (48MP+5MP+2MP), Mediatek Dimensity 700 chipset, and 5000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
At present, Samsung has not shared any information regarding A22 5G. Since the handset has already passed several certifications and is spotted on the benchmark platform, we expect its launch to be around the corner.
