It’s official: RTX 5070 Ti arrives on February 20, RTX 5070 on March 5

A few days ago, a countdown timer was posted on MSI’s French website, suggesting the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will be released on February 20, 2025.

And now, NVIDIA has officially confirmed the date through its X (formerly Twitter) account. The tweet reads, “GeForce RTX 5070 Ti availability starts February 20th at 6AM PT from our add-in-card partners and system integrators.”

Speaking of its non-Ti variant, the RTX 5070 will release on March 5, though Nvidia said to release sometime in February. The company has also displayed these dates on its official website.

Date RTX 5070 Ti and 5070

The RTX 5070 Ti will arrive in the market as a mid-range graphics card within NVIDIA’s latest RTX 50 series. It starts at $749, meaning it is a more accessible option compared to its higher-end counterparts, which include the RTX 5080 (starting at $999) and RTX 5090 (starting at $1,999). On the other hand, the RTX 5070 starts at $549, which makes it an even more affordable option.

Last month, a report from Wccftech said that both the GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080 are facing shortages, and because of this, shipments are getting delayed. The report further said its price has also been increased in some regions. Now, it will be interesting to see whether sufficient units of the RTX 5070 Ti will be available on launch day to meet consumer demand.
