Xiaomi updates their budget Note series smartphones quite regularly, but it has been a while since we last had a Note device. Last week, there were leaks about the Redmi Note 10 lineup launching soon, and we now have confirmation that we will be getting the Redmi Note 10 and possibly Redmi Note 10 Pro too by the end of March.
We do not have specific dates for the launch of the two rumored devices. Still, we have certain information from Xiaomi’s Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain that the launch is in early March. As for the specifications of both devices, we only have leaks, but they are from reliable sources.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 is rumored to come with a 120Hz LCD panel with a hole punch cut out for the front camera. The processor inside the Vanilla Note 10 is rumored to be the Snapdragon 732G. In terms of RAM and storage, the Redmi 10 is said to come with two configurations: 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64 GB. It is also rumored to have a quad-camera setup at the back, which consists of a 64MP main camera. We don’t have any information regarding the battery capacity, but three color options are expected for this upcoming device: Gray, White, and Green.
Coming to the Pro model, we do not have that much information. We only have leaks suggesting that there will be three RAM and storage configurations: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128 GB. The possible color options are Bronze, Blue, and Gray. There was one leak via Mukul Sharma suggesting that the Redmi Note 10 Pro might pack an AMOLED panel. Besides this, nothing much has come forward about the Redmi Note 10 Pro.
The Pro model might launch together with the Redmi Note 10 vanilla model. Based on Xiaomi’s history, we can expect the Pro model to have better cameras, better performance, and better battery performance overall.
