Realme X and Realme 5 Pro Android 10 Update with Realme UI Starts Rolling Out

Realme published its software update rollout timeline in January 2020, where they mentioned that Realme X and Realme 5 Pro will get an Android 10 update in February 2020. Both phones were launched with ColorOS 6.0, based on the Android 9.0 (Pie) operating system. Now, users are waiting for the latest version of Android. As promised, the company has now begun the rollout of the Android 10 update with Realme UI v1.0 custom skin for the Realme X and 5 Pro in India.

As of now, the update will roll out randomly to a limited number of users. Once the company is sure that there are no critical bugs, a broader rollout will begin. Realme expects the rollout will be completed in the upcoming days.

The Android 10 update with the Realme UI v1.0 carries the build number RMX1901EX_11_C.01 for Realme X and RMX1971EX_11_C.01 for Realme 5 Pro. In case you haven’t received the latest software update notification on your device, go to the software update section in the Settings app and check manually. Also, you will soon be able to download these updated files from the official site. Both RMX1901EX_11_C.01 and RMX1971EX_11_C.01 update build weighs 3.51GB in size.

The latest Realme X and 5 Pro software update brings a brand-new design that makes visuals more attractive and operations more efficient. As for the changelog, we see an improved smart sidebar, Optimized visual interaction for game space, New live/artistic wallpapers, Optimized 3-finger screenshot gesture, Optimized Camera UI, and more.

Talking about the specifications, both Realme X and 5 Pro come with Full HD+  display, but we get an AMOLED panel on Realme X.  The Realme X is equipped with Octa-Core Snapdragon 710 10nm Mobile Platform while we see Snapdragon 712 10nm Mobile Platform on the Realme 5 Pro. In the camera department, both come with a 48MP rear camera with a Sony IMX586 sensor and a 16MP front-facing camera with a Sony IMX471 sensor. We have a VOOC 3.0 20W fast charger with both phones to charge batteries quickly.
