Realme Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0: Here’s the List of Eligible Phones

Realme X series and Realme Pro devices will get two major updates

Android 11 will soon be released and people are hyped about it. A lot of phones will get updated to Android 11. Realme users are worried whether their phones will get updated or not. But don’t worry we have created a list of Realme phones which will get updated soon to Realme UI 2.0 based Android 11.

What is Realme UI 2.0?

Realme UI 2.0 is an upcoming custom skin for Realme phones which will be based on the Android 11 operating system. Last year, Realme created own Android 10 based custom skin known as Realme UI 1.0 which has some cool features from Color OS 7. Realme India CMO Francis Wang has confirmed that Realme UI 2.0 is under development. The company has started working to bring many new features with UI 2.0.

Realme has announced a long term beta program to experience the latest developments in Realme UI and Android 11. The program is currently applicable for Realme X2 Pro users only. They can experience unreleased Realme UI features in advance, and they should provide feedback and insights on the new features. It will help Realme to make the final decision before officially implemented to next-generation Realme UI 2.0.

Realme Android 11 Update

This year, Realme will bring the Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 for eligible devices. Francis Wang has revealed via Twitter that both Realme Pro and X series are eligible for two major OS updates. That means Realme X50 Pro, X50,  X2 Pro, X2, XT and X phones will get the Android 11 update. As Pro series are also eligible, so we can assume that the Realme 3 Pro, 5 Pro, 6 Pro devices will also get next OS update. However, the Realme 2 Pro may not receive the update as it has already got two major updates.

List of Realme Phones Expected to Receive Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0

Realme 6 Series

The Realme 6 Series includes 3 smartphones, namely, Realme 6, 6 Pro and 6i. Both 6 and 6 Pro arrives with Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate. They pack 64MP main camera with 1/1.72″ Samsung GW1 sensor. To unlock the device, Side-mounted fingerprint sensor is placed on both phones. On the other hand, Realme 6i features 6.5-inch mini-drop display, Helio G80 SoC, Android 10 OS, 48MP primary sensor and 5000mAh battery. All three of them will receive the Android 11 update.

Realme X50 Series

The current top flagship of Realme is the Realme X50 Pro. It has all the flagship specs with 5G connectivity. The series also includes a higher mid-range 5G smartphone dubbed as Realme X50 and a lite version called Realme X50m. The X50 Pro runs on Snapdragon 865 whereas both X50 and X50m run on Snapdragon 765G chipset. They are currently running Android 10 OS. So, they are eligible for the upcoming major OS upgrade.

The company’s latest budget smartphone Realme C3 announced with Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G70 12nm processor SoC. In terms of display, the device has a  6.52-inch (1600 x 720 pixels) mini-drop display which is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 3+. This phone is also expected to get Realme UI 2.0 and Android 11 update.

Realme 3 Pro

The budget-oriented Realme 3 Pro will surely get an Android 11 update. At the moment the phone currently runs on Android 10. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with 4GB RAM. It has a 6.30-inch Full HD+ display with 64GB internal storage. It also has a dual-camera lens (16MP + 5MP ) and a 25MP front camera for selfies. It has a juice of 4,045 mAh which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging (20W).

The budget gaming Realme 5 Pro will get Android 11 update for sure. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 and has 4GB RAM. The phone has an internal storage of 64GB and has a Full HD+ display 6.30-inch. The phone is installed with Rear quad-camera (48MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP ) and 16MP front camera. The device is backed by a 4035mAh battery which supports VOOC 3.0 fast charging (20W).

Realme X has a trendy pop up camera and is an affordable phone. The phone is guaranteed to get Android 11. The phone has the most trendy features. It has an in-display fingerprint, 6.53-inch notch-less Full AMOLED display. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. It has a 48MP primary camera and 16MP front camera. The phone has a battery backup of 3765mAh battery.

Realme XT

The first 64MP camera phone to come to India is Realme XT. The phone currently runs on Android 10 with Realme UI and will get updated to Android 11 soon. The phone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 with 4GB RAM and has a 64GB internal storage. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) Super AMOLED display along with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The phone has similar features as that of Realme XT. The phone currently runs on Android 10 with Realme UI and will get updated to Android 11 soon. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G under the hood and paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It packs a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display. There is a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 main sensor on the back and a 16MP sensor for selfies. The phone is backed by a sizable 4,000mAh battery and comes with 20W fast charging support.

The game-centric phone X2 Pro currently runs on Android 10 with Realme UI and since its a flagship one (2019’s) there’s no doubt in getting Android 11 update. It runs on the powerful lastest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC with 8GB RAM. It has a 90Hz 6.50-inch display. The device sports quad-camera (64MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP) setup  and 16MP front camera for beautiful selfies. The phone has a battery backup of 4000mAh with 50W fast charging.

Realme Narzo 10 Series

Realme Narzo series devices (which include Narzo 10 and Narzo 10A) run on the Android 10 OS. So, Narzo series users can rest assured that they will receive Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on their unit. The Narzo 10 and 10A smartphone are equipped with Mediatek’s gaming chipset Helio G80 and G70 respectively.
