Realme Android 13 (Realme UI 4.0) Update: Supported Devices List

Realme released realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12 to several realme smartphones. While many users are yet to receive the Android 12 update, details about the Android 13 update have already been turned on.

Google recently released the Android 13 beta for select devices, which gave us a glimpse of Android 13 features. These features will most likely come to Android 13-based realme UI 4.0 as well. So, many realme users might wonder if their device will get the Android 13 update. Read more to find out.

December 8: Realme UI 4.0 is now official. It brings over 260 improvements and delivers the most seamless software experience yet. Realme UI 4.0 features include real Intuitive Icons, Card-styled Layout, Omoji’s 79 new faces, Multi-screen Connect, Auto Pixelate, Quantum Animation Engine 4.0, Smart Music AOD, Dynamic Computing Engine, Large Folders, and Home Screen Widgets.

December 2: The Android 13 open beta update is now live for Realme Narzo 50 Pro 5G in India.

November 28: The VP of Realme, in an episode of #AskMadhav, has confirmed that Realme will soon share details about Realme UI 4.0.

November 27: The open beta program is available in India for Realme GT Neo 3T and Realme 9i 5G users.

November 17: The realme 10 Pro series comprising the 10 Pro and 10 Pro+ arrives in China with Realme UI 4.0 out of the box. This suggests Realme UI 4.0 features, and the global rollout plan will likely be announced this month.

November 15: Realme GT Neo 3 and Neo 3 (150W) Android 13 stable update is now available in India.

  • GT Neo 3 (150W) software version: RMX3563_11_C.12.
  • GT Neo 3 software version: RMX3561_11_C.12.

November 12: Realme has announced that the Android 13 Open Beta program is now available for Realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+. However, it should be noted that the latest build is still based on Realme UI 3.0

October 21: Realme is seeding a stable Android 13 update for its Realme GT 2 Pro handset in India.

October 21: Realme UI 4.0 Public Beta Recruitment is live for Realme GT Neo 3 Series and Realme GT 2. To join the Public Beta, the GT Neo 3 series requires the current version to be A.44/ A.45, and GT 2 requires the current version to be A.19/ A.20.

October 11: Android 13 early access program for realme 9 Pro + 5G has been started to roll out in batches for the selected users.

September 19: Realme VP and Head of Realme International, Madhav Sheth, via his Twitter account, shared the Android 13 update early access roadmap for global users. As per the roadmap, Realme GT 2 Pro has already received the Android 13 beta. This month, the Realme GT Neo 3 (150W) and GT 2 will start getting the update. Below, you can check the Android 13 rollout timeline for the other Realme phones.

  • From October 2022: Realme GT Neo 3T, 9 Pro+ 5G, 9 Pro, and 9i.
  • From November 2022: Realme GT, Narzo 50 Pro, and Narzo 50 5G.
  • From December 2022: Realme GT Neo 2, X7 Max, 8 5G, and Narzo 30 5G.
  • From Q1, 2023: Realme GT Master Edition, 9 5G Speed Edition, 9 (5G, 4G), 9i 4G, and 8s 5G.
  • From Q2, 2023: Realme 8 4G, 8i, Narzo 50.
  • From Q3, 2023: Realme Narzo 50A Prime, C35, C31, C30, Narzo 50i Prime, and C33.

September 5: Realme has shared the Realme UI 4.0 rollout timeline for Chinese units of Realme devices. The Early Access for the Realme GT 2 Pro is already available from August 2022. This roadmap is for the first batch of smartphones.

  • From September 2022: Realme GT Neo 3, Neo 3 150W/ Naruto Limited Edition, and GT 2.
  • From October 2022: Realme GT 2 Master Discovery Edition, GT Master Explorer Edition, Q5, Q5 Pro/ Carnival Edition.
  • From November 2022: Realme GT.
  • From December 2022: Realme GT Neo 2/ Neo 2 Dragon Ball Custom Edition, GT Neo/ Neo Flash Edition.

Realme UI 4.0 roadmap for the global markets, including India, will likely be revealed by November 2022.

August 4: Realme has announced the Android 13 early access program for the Realme GT 2 Pro handset. With the early access program, GT 2 Pro users can try out the new OS before the stable rollout.

June 8: Google has started rolling out Android 13 Beta 3 with Platform Stability for supported Pixel phones. Realme Android 13 release could be nearing.

May 12: Google announced the Android 13 operating system on May 11. Realme has opened the Android 13 Beta 1 program (as a part of the Developer Preview program) for its flagship Realme GT 2 Pro (European Version). You need to update to the required version of Android 12 (RMX3301_A.14) to install the Android 13 Developer Preview (RMX3301_11_C.01) build.

Realme Android 13 (realme UI 4.0) Release Date

  • The Android 13-based realme UI 4.0 was released on December 8, 2022. The update will be rolled out to all eligible Realme devices in phases.

In the past, after the release of ColorOS 12, realme announced realme UI 3.0 based on Android 12, which was very similar to ColorOS 12 except for a few things here and there.

Since realme UI is just a copy of OPPO’s ColorOS, we can expect realme UI 4.0 to release around the same time as ColorOS 13, which will be based on Android 13.

These Realme Devices may not get the Android 13 update.

Although the list of devices eligible for the update is long, some devices may not get the Android 13-based realme UI 4.0 update as well. Realme usually provides two years of OS updates for the Realme Number Pro/X series and one year of OS updates for the Realme Number Series. This means that the following devices may not get the Android 13 update:

The above list is unofficial; hence, realme may include or exclude any device from the list in the future. This list does NOT include devices that will launch in the future, as they will get the Android 13 update.
