Realme 6i with Helio G80 Processor Launching on March 17

On March 5, the Chinese smartphone company Realme announced the 6th series of the Realme smartphones, which includes Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro. Now, the Realme 6i is added to the series.

Today, the company has announced via Facebook that a new budget smartphone, Realme 6i, will be launched in Myanmar on March 17, 2020. The Realme 6i will be the World’s first MediaTek Helio G80-powered device. In a separate Facebook post, the company reveals that it will have 18W Quick Charge support and a USB Type-C port.

The Realme 6i, having a model number RMX2040, was also previously spotted on the Federal Communications Commission(FCC) platform. In the FCC platform, the physical appearance of the Realme 6i smartphone has been revealed. The device is featured with a waterdrop notch display. The power button is to the right side of the device, while the volume rockers are to the left. The backside of the smartphone comes with a quad rear camera setup aligned in one position with a 48MP primary camera unit. A fingerprint sensor is placed right beside the rear camera setup. The device will have a 5000 mAh battery and likely support 18W fast charging.

Recently, A new device from the Realme 6 series has been spotted on the Geekbench marking website. The device appears with the model number RMX2040, which could be the next Realme 6 series smartphone – The Realme 6i. The listing of Geekbench reveals some key specifications of the Realme 6i. The device will have 4GB of RAM with Helio G80 chipset. The handset will have Android 10 out of the box. It scored 345 points in the single-core test and 1293 points in the multi-core test on the Geekbench platform.

With the Realme 6i, another device with the model number RMX2063 has also been spotted on Geekbench. The official name of the device has not been confirmed yet. The RMX2063 handset scored 570 in the single-core test and 1683 in the multi-core test on Geekbench. The device will have 8GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 720G chipset. Android 10 will be preinstalled on the smartphone.
