Realme 5i users got frustrated about why their device hasn’t got updated yet and why they are kept off from the Android 10 registrations. Various users ask about it on numerous platforms. Finally, Realme responded to the users by saying that the beta registration for this device will be out this month.
The reason for this is that as of now Android 10 based Realme UI has a lot of bugs for Realme 5i that need to be fixed by developers. They want to provide users with a bugless experience and maybe pushed a few days. But Realme kept their promise and they kicked off their earlier registration for Android 10 (Realme UI).
Realme made an official statement in the community post. The statement read as
Hi, Realme fans! Realme UI update for Realme 5i is almost here. As a Realme Community member, we are giving you the chance to experience it first. So, here is an interesting arrangement. We will roll out Realme UI to limited users of Realme 5i before anyone else.
The beta registrations have a limited quota and it is a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in the beta update head to Settings> Software Update> click on the gear icon> Trial Version> submit the details asked and hit Apply Now. That’s all you can update your device straight away. But keep in mind that your previous ROM version must be RMX2030EX_11.A.19. If not, update the phone first and then apply for the beta update registrations.
The company tried hard to fix bugs or errors for the device. But if you still face any bugs after the Realme UI update you can fill out a form mentioning your device bugs or any suggestions and submit it.
About the update, it comes with a baseband version RMX2030EX_11_C.37 and its download size is roughly around 2.5GB. The update comes with all the features from Realme UI 1.0 and the key features from Android 10. Before starting download remember that your phone is charged above 70% and you have minimum phone storage of 6GB for a seamless update. Your phone may heat up during the update but don’t panic, it’s normal.
That’s all for the Realme 5i Android 10 update. Lets us know in the comments if you updated your phone and share your experience. Until then stay home and stay safe.
