Radeon RX 9070 XT: AMD’s RDNA 4 GPU to launch alongside FSR 4

AMD will reportedly announce its next-gen graphics card, supposedly the Radeon RX 9070 XT, during the CES 2025 event in January. The new card will be released as part of AMD’s powerful RDNA 4 series.

The Radeon RX 9070 XT would be the flagship model from AMD’s RX 9000 lineup. The name suggests a change to AMD’s old naming structure since instead of announcing the RX 8800 XT or even an RX 9800 XT. AMD has apparently skipped those monikers to jump right to the RX 9000 series if a report from Videocardz is to be believed.

This shift is interesting because it’s similar to what AMD’s competitors, like NVIDIA, have done with their products, for example, RTX 4070.

Along with the Radeon RX 9070 XT, AMD will also reveal a new technology called FSR 4. FSR stands for FidelityFX Super Resolution, and it’s a feature that improves the graphics of games without putting too much strain on your computer.

CES 2025 is going to be big for AMD fans in January. They’re also going to announce other products, including the Ryzen 9 9000X3D for desktops and laptops.

In related news, NVIDIA will also announce its next-gen graphics card, RTX 50 series. All this new stuff coming out makes January 2025 an exciting time for tech enthusiasts.
