Possible Realme 9 with model RMX3388 bags BIS and EEC certifications

Realme is gearing up to launch its Realme 9 series of smartphones. The series will include vanilla Realme 9, Realme 9 Pro, Realme 9 Pro+, and Realme 9i. The brand has already unveiled Realme 9i in Vietnam. However, the company has not announced Realme 9/ 9 Pro/ 9 Pro+’s arrival.

Thailand’s NBTC listing has already confirmed that Realme 9 Pro, 9 Pro+, and 9i+ will carry RMX3472, RMX3393, and RMX3491 model numbers, respectively. Today, we have spotted a new Realme handset with model number RMX3388 on the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) and Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). This hints that the launch of the phone could be around the corner. The Realme model number RMX3388 could be dubbed as Realme 9.

The BIS listing suggests the alleged Realme 9’s arrival in India can be expected soon.

The EEC listing confirms that the alleged Realme 9 has already been approved for the European region.

Sadly, both listings did not tell us anything else about the device. For now, this is all the information that we have on the upcoming Realme 9 handset, but we will make sure to keep you updated on the same whenever we receive any more intel on the same.

The Realme 9i is the first smartphone to launch under the Realme 9 series. It features a 6.5-inch display and a 50MP camera setup. The device is powered by a Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 5000mAh battery. It runs Realme UI 2.0, based on Android 11. The Realme 9i 6GB/128GB variant is priced at VND 6,290,000 in Vietnam, which translates to about Rs. 20,500. It is available in two color options: blue and black.
