Poco X4 Pro 5G Moniker Confirmed with Model Number 2201116PG

Poco will soon launch its X4 lineup of smartphones globally. Today, we have spotted one of its models on the certification database. The new Poco handset carries model number 2201116PG, and it will launch with the Poco X4 Pro 5G moniker.

A few days ago, model number 2201116PG was also listed on the FCC certification website via Abhishek Yadav. Now, a fresh listing reveals that the Poco 2201116PG will be debuting globally with the Poco X4 Pro 5G moniker as a successor to last year’s Poco X3 Pro.

The FCC listing revealed vital specs, such as MIUI 13, NFC, and support for n5/ n8/ n38/ n41/ n7/ n78 5G bands.

As of now, there is no official word from Poco regarding the X4 lineup. However, a new Redmi phone with model number 2201116SC appeared on China’s TENAA certification website via Gizmochina, revealing the entire device specs. Judging from the character sequence, we can expect that Redmi 2201116SC may arrive as Poco X4 Pro 5G outside China. If this holds, then as per TENAA, Poco X4 Pro 5G could be powered by a 5G-ready 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 695 5G chipset. It will likely pack a 6.67-inch OLED FHD+ display, a 108MP triple camera unit, and a 16MP front camera. The device will probably be backed by a 4,900mAh rated/ 5,000 mAh typical battery with support for 67W fast charging.
