The flagship killer of 2018 has been on the talks of many people these days again. However, the good news is that these are no longer just rumours. Xiaomi just ended their relationship with Poco, and now it stands as an independent company trying to make a change. When the Poco F1 came out, it took the midrange segment by storm and now we have confirmed news about a Poco F2. The company has said that 2020 will be the year of the return of Poco and we won’t just see a single Poco device, but a total of 3 Poco devices. All three of those devices will target three different markets, with a purported Poco F2 Lite version on the budget side of things.
However, POCO has confirmed via Twitter and wire agency PTI that next Poco phone will be launched in February 2020. Poco India’s GM, C Manmohan told in a separate interview that the Poco F2 exists but will not be the first Poco phone to launch this year.
An 18 second has been released by Poco recently via Twitter, and it said “Season 2”, hinting the return of Poco in the smartphone industry. Nothing certain is revealed in the video, but a tipster was able to decode the message in it. There is an easter egg here in the video, where on a particular screen there is a name that reads Poco X2.

As per YouTube channel RevAtlas, there will be more than one device, each targetting different price segments. He said that the company will preserve the concept of value for money for all these devices. As of now, it is known that there will be three devices. Recent leaks have indeed revealed information about a Lite version device from Poco.
In recent Geekbench, details were revealed about the Poco X2 device. It comes with Android 10 out of the box and packs the Snapdragon 730G that we have seen on a bunch of midranges to flagship devices already. After the breakdown with Poco, it was certain that the company will be back on to manufacture new devices and here we have it. However, we don’t know whether the flagship killer will be called the Poco F2 or Poco X2. Surely, there will be a snapdragon 730G device, but the company will certainly come up with a device with the top of the line latest Snapdragon 865. We will have to wait and see how Poco decides to name these new devices.
