Poco is known as a company that releases rebranded Xiaomi phones in parts or countries outside of China. Poco was initially a sub-brand under Xiaomi, but it cut ties with the tech giant a while ago. However, even after that, Poco has launched several Redmi phones under their lineup. The most recent launch they had was the Poco F3, which was indeed the rebranded Redmi K40 that was launched in China a few weeks before the launch of the Poco F3.
Now tipster Kacper Skrzypek has recently posted a picture online with a piece of code that reveals some information about a Xiaomi smartphone. The code in the picture posted by him appears to be the code for MIUI 12, and it also contains the model number of the device. The model number that shows up in the code is M2104K0I, which is the model number of the device Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, which was launched a few days ago in China.
Furthermore, the code reveals that the marketing name for model number M2104K0I will be Poco F3 GT. So, we can assume that the specifications that we have for the Xiaomi Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition will be the same for the Poco F3 GT device.

This will be the first gaming-centric device from Poco. They have launched devices in the past that were all about performance. But they were not launched as gaming phones. If Poco does rebrand the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition smartphone as the Poco F3 GT, then it will launch it as a gaming smartphone. As for the specifications, we can just look at the specification sheet of the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, and we will get all the information that we need.
The Poco F3 GT, like the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition, is expected to feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. In terms of processing power, we have the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC, which is a flagship processor from MediaTek. As for RAM and storage, we will have a variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal. It will be interesting to see if Poco launches any other storage and RAM variants of this upcoming smartphone. There is a triple camera setup at the rear with a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP maco sensor. The macro sensor is there just to give it the tag of a triple camera setup, as 2MP macro shots are never usable. The front-facing camera on this smartphone will be a 16MP sensor. Powering all of it will be a 5,056 mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging. The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 is capable of 5G connectivity, and the Poco F3 GT will definitely not miss out on this connectivity feature.
