Poco Android 13 Update: Supported Devices List

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO recently started rolling out MIUI 13 update based on Android 12 for its eligible devices. Although POCO claims to be an independent brand, it still depends on Xiaomi for several things, including the software. All POCO devices come with MIUI Android skin. Xiaomi is expected to release the Android 13-based MIUI update in the coming months. So, we can expect the update to go to POCO devices as well.

Google recently released the Android 13 beta for select devices, which gave us a glimpse of Android 13 features. These features will likely come to Android 13 based on MIUI 13, MIUI 13.5 & MIUI 14. So, many POCO users might be wondering if their device will get the Android 13 update or not. Read more to find out.

Poco Android 13 Release Date

• We expect Android 13 to be released for POCO devices by Q4 2022.

August 15: Android 13 stable version is now available for Pixel phones. Sadly, Poco users will have to wait for a few weeks. Android 13 will likely come to Poco phones later this year.

June 8: Google has started rolling out Android 13 Beta 3 with Platform Stability for supported Pixel phones. Poco Android 13 release could be nearing.

POCO has a decent track record when it comes to providing software updates. We can expect the Android 13 update to be released around the same time other OEMs will release their versions of Android 13.

Google unveiled Android 13 on May 11 at its annual developer conference, Google I/O 2022. Currently, the Beta build is open for 22 devices from 12 OEMs. Sadly, Poco has not joined the beta program yet.

The POCO F series of phones will be the first to get the Android 13 update. Other phones will also get the update later. However, there is no official information regarding the release date or eligible devices list for the Android 13 update from POCO or Xiaomi.

Another device that may get the Android 13 update is the upcoming POCO C40. Since it is a C series device, it is unclear whether it will get the update.

Several popular Poco smartphones, such as Poco F2 Pro, Poco X3 NFC, Poco X2, Poco M2, and Poco M2 Pro, may not get the Android 13 update.
