A fresh certification for Pixel 10a has surfaced, shedding light on several of its core hardware specs — including display, battery capacity, RAM, and storage — and adding clarity to what to expect when the phone eventually launches. The leak surfaced on December 10, 2025, and has stirred renewed interest in Google’s mid-range A-series offering.

What the new Pixel 10a certification reveals

According to the recently leaked Verizon certification shared by Evan Blass, Pixel 10a is listed with a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, capable of refreshing at up to 120 Hz, and a 5,100 mAh battery.

Additional details from the leak suggest the phone will ship with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and come with a dual rear camera setup: a 48 MP primary lens, paired with a 13 MP ultrawide. Selfies and video calls may be handled by a 13 MP front camera.

The listing also confirms the internal codename “STA5” (Stallion) for the Pixel 10a.

Why this matters — and what remains unchanged

Minor upgrades, familiar foundation

Most of these newly revealed specs — display size, battery capacity, camera setup, memory — closely mirror those of the predecessor Pixel 9a.

Insiders expect Pixel 10a to run on a “slightly boosted” version of the Tensor G4 chipset — the same silicon used by Pixel 9a — rather than switching to the newer Tensor G5 found in the flagship Pixel 10 lineup.

If accurate, the upgrades appear modest. The new device likely maintains a similar design language: compact size, plastic rear panel, dual-camera layout, and a clean Android experience — keeping the mid-range value proposition intact.

What we’re still waiting on

The certification does not provide final confirmation on processor details, charging speed, peak display brightness, build materials, or full camera capabilities (e.g., telephoto, optical zoom, etc.). Because many specifications mirror Pixel 9a, there’s a chance some listed specs are placeholders.

There is also no official word yet on pricing or release date. Previous reports had placed Pixel 10a’s global launch around the first quarter of 2026, possibly at the company’s annual developer event.

What’s next

We expect more leaks and official teasers in the coming weeks — especially around chipset details, display brightness, and charging speeds. Official confirmation should ideally come from Google itself, possibly around early 2026. Until then, the leaked certification gives our best publicly available look at Pixel 10a’s hardware.
