Pixel 10 Pro Fold Renders Suggest Minimal Design Changes

The original Pixel Fold got a mixed reception due to its design choices with thick bezels, but the Pixel 9 Pro Fold corrected the design and made it look like a modern open-book style foldable phone. As per a new exclusive leak from Android Headlines, Google will continue using a similar design for the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

As per the source, the renders are official, and this is what the final product will look like. The same website previously released the renders of the Google Pixel 10, 10 Pro, and 10 Pro XL. What stands out is that the Pixel 10 could get three cameras this time, one of which is a potential periscope zoom camera.

Leaked renders reveal Pixel 10 Pro Fold’s design

As per the renders of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, there aren’t many internal changes. The size and area of the camera module are identical to last year’s device. We can expect the same or slightly tweaked 1/2″ 48MP main camera, 10.8MP 5X periscope zoom camera, and 10.5MP ultrawide. This isn’t a very ambitious camera setup for a flagship foldable device, considering even Samsung might move to a 200MP primary sensor.

The codename of the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is Rango. While there aren’t many official leaks of the specifications, most leakers agree that the chipset used will be a major upgrade this year. It moves away from the questionable Samsung foundry with a low yield rate, and now they’re using a TSMC fabrication for the Google Tensor G5 SOC. In other specs, we can expect 16GB of RAM, with 256GB and 512GB as storage options.

The Pixel 10 Pro Fold could drop a bit in the overall thickness, though this isn’t confirmed. It’s also difficult to judge from renders. The phone isn’t as thin as the Oppo Find N5 or Honor Magic V3. These devices represent new innovations in this foldable form factor. Google is sticking with the older design and dimensions for either cost or durability reasons.

The dimensions are 155.2×150.4×5.3mm, and that’s slightly different from the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. However, differences of 0.1mm to 0.3mm are typically within the margin of error. We can assume the dimensions overall are the same.

We expect a launch around August 2025, along with the Pixel 10 series. That’s four phones at the event, which is the same as the Pixel 9 series announcement last year. There’s one upside to Google using similar hardware specifications. The phone might actually drop in price compared to last year. If they knock off 100$ or 200$ from the price, it could be a decent deal.
