Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite will Come with 4820 mAh Battery; May Launch in India Also

The Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is gearing up its upcoming Mi 10T series as the successor to the Mi 9T series. According to a report from GSMArena, the Mi 10T lineup will go official on September 30, 2020, at an online event. The Mi 10T family will include three smartphones: Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, and Mi 10T-Lite.

Both Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro will likely be equipped with Snapdragon 865, while the Lite version will be powered by a Snapdragon 700 Series 5G SoC.

Quanxin Wang, general manager of product and technology at Xiaomi International, Said: “We are proud to work with Qualcomm Technologies to launch the first commercial smartphone based on the latest Snapdragon 750G to consumers.” So, we believe the Mi 10T Lite will arrive with a Snapdragon 750G chipset. It will likely be priced under €300.

Recently, an unknown Xiaomi smartphone with model number M2007J17G appeared on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website.

Although the device name was not listed in the FCC database, we can confirm from a separate document that M2007J17G will be called Xiaomi Mi 10T-Lite.

While not many details about the Mi 10T-Lite have been revealed in the FCC listing, they do reveal that the handset will run MIUI 12 and feature 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth, and NFC.

The FCC has also listed the battery model as BM4W with 4720mAh (Rated) capacity. When we cross-checked the battery model with the TUV Rheinland listing, we found that the BM4W battery has a typical capacity of 4820mAh. So, we conclude that the Mi 10T-Lite will be equipped with a 4820mAh (Typical) battery.

Additionally, Mi 10T Lite’s battery BM4W has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification database. This suggests that the Mi 10T-Lite might be making its way to India. The device itself has not been certified by BIS yet, but this is a start nonetheless.
