Vivo X60s 5G with 765G SoC and 33W Charging Support May Launch Soon

Vivo recently launched the X50 series, which includes Vivo X50, Vivo X50 Pro, and Vivo X50 Pro+. Now, it seems Vivo is planning to launch a new smartphone that will carry the V2006 model. The device has also received EEC, IMDA, Bluetooth SIG, and UL(Demko) certifications, suggesting it may launch soon.

Last month, the Bluetooth SIG certification website revealed that the V2006 model will be called Vivo X60s 5G. However, the X60s 5G moniker has now been removed from the listing, but we can see the old listing via tipster Sudhanshu’s tweet.

Now, we have come up with some key details about X60s 5G. The device has now appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, which reveals it will have 8GB RAM and Android 10 OS. The processor will be from Qualcomm with a 1.80 GHz base frequency. However, when we checked benchmark source codes, we found the below configuration:

CPU: 1 Core @ 2.40 Ghz + 1 Core @ 2.21 Ghz + 6 Core @ 1.80 Ghz
GPU: Adreno 620

This configuration only matches Qualcomm’s 765G 5G chipset. So, the Vivo X60s 5G will likely be equipped with a Snapdragon 765G SoC.

Furthermore, UL(Demko) certification reveals that it will support 33W (11V/3A) fast charging.

Moving on to the IMDA and EEC certifications of the Vivo X60s 5G, these certifications don’t reveal any key details apart from confirming the device’s existence.

It’s been only two months since the X50 series launch, so it looks Vivo X60s is not the successor to the X50 Series. Rumours suggest that it could be the rebranded version of Vivo Z6 5G (which was launched earlier this year in China.) for the global market. But, Vivo Z6 5G came with 44w fast charging support. So, the rumor is incorrect.

More details about the Vivo X60s 5G are likely to surface in the coming weeks.
