Samsung Galaxy F22 4G and F22 5G allegedly on their way to India

We have seen Samsung Galaxy F series devices for the Indian market. At present, Galaxy F12, F02s, F62, and F41 have joined the F-series. It looks like a new device called F22 is on the way. Tipster The_Tech_Guy revealed that Samsung is working on an entry-level phone called Galaxy F22. This phone bears model number SM-E225F, and it will be released in India soon.

In addition, SamMoblie reports that the model SM-E225F is very similar to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A22 smartphone. And it could arrive as the F22 in the Indian market, while the A22 will likely be aimed at the European market. By looking at the model number, the device will be a 4G variant. The company may also bring its 5G variant dubbed as F22 5G, though we don’t have concrete info just yet.

Currently, there is no word regarding the specs of both 4G and 5G variants. Since A22 5G is expected to be equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 700 5G SoC, the F22 5G model could be based on A22 5G. So we could see F22 5G with the same chip coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. The Dimensity 700 5G SoC uses a 7nm process and includes two ARM Cortex-A76 large cores at a clock speed of 2.2GHz, and six small Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2GHz.

For photography, the F22 5G is said to pack a triple rear camera system that includes a 48 MP primary sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2 MP sensor. On the front, it may sport a 13 MP selfie shooter inside a waterdrop notch.

Currently, the company has not announced anything about the F22 5G device. But it will likely arrive as the company’s cheapest 5G mobile phone.
