The South Korean Tech Giant is preparing for its most affordable 5G Phone in India—Galaxy A14 5G. As per the leaks, the device has been recently found on Bluetooth SIG Certification, which concludes that the device is not far away from launch now. The device is expected to launch in the next year, somewhere in Q1 2023. Furthermore, we have some looks and rumors about how the device will look.
Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has passed multiple certifications.
Based upon the leaked reports, the Galaxy A14 5G is expected to come with Samsung’s renowned U-shaped budget notch, triple rear cameras on the back, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a USB Type-C Port. Regarding the Indian launch, the device has already been certified on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) website, making it early for the Indian launch. Along with that, the device has also bagged WiFi Alliance Certification.

The Galaxy A14 5G listing on Bluetooth SIG Certification has revealed some of the model numbers of the same device in different regions or countries. The model numbers are SM-A146U, SM-A146VL, SM-A146W, SM-A146U, SM-A146U1/DS, SM-A146P, SM-A146P/N, SM-A146P/DSN and are based on different markets like Canada, South Korea, and the US. We have some of the expected specifications of the entry-level budget 5G device by which you can understand the smartphone’s significance.

Samsung Galaxy A14 5G: Expected Specifications
As per the leaks and rumors surfacing around the web, the Samsung Galaxy A14 5G will likely come with a 6.8-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with 2408 × 1080 pixel resolutions, which is better than its predecessor. Considering the device’s enormous size (6.8 inches), the form factor is also increased, and the dimensions are 167.7 x 78.7 x 9.3mm.
The phone is said to arrive with a 5000 mAh battery. However, the charging capacity has not been confirmed yet, but we can assume 15W fast charging considering the price and Samsung’s past few budget devices. Regarding the optics, there will be a triple rear camera set-up on the back from which the primary camera will be 50MP, and the other two sensors’ details are yet unknown. There will be a 13MP selfie camera rather than 8MP on the Galaxy A13 5G.
Further, the device is expected to boot with One UI 5.0 based on Android 13 out-of-the-box. As per the recent renders of the looks of the devices leaked, the smartphone has been shown in a black color variant, and we should expect more color options, too.
When will Galaxy A14 5G be launched in India?
As discussed, the Galaxy A14 5G has already bagged BIS Certification, so the Indian launch is not too far away now. Per the reports by various tipsters, the Galaxy A14 5G is expected to fall around January or February 2023. We should expect the launch around the end of January or the beginning of February 2023. But we don’t know when the company will launch the device in the country.
