The specification of Redmi Note 8 includes 6.39-inch full HD+ IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with the resolution of 2340 ×1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 ratio and approx 403 ppi density. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 processor paired with upto 6GB of RAM and upto 128GB of internal storage with support for microSD card.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 operating system. It has a 4000mAh non-removable battery with 18W fast charging
In the camera department, the Redmi Note 8 sports quad rear camera setup that includes 48-megapixel, f/1.79 + 8-megapixel, 120° ultra-wide-angle + 2-megapixel, f/2.4, dedicated macro camera + 2-megapixel, depth sensor. The front camera gets a 13-megapixel (f/2.0) shooter for selfies and video calling.
The phone measures 158.3 x 75.3×8.35 mm and weighs 190 grams. It is available in Neptune Blue, Moonlight White, Cosmic Purple and Space Black colours.
The Redmi Note 8 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs 12,999 for 6GB + 128GB variant.
The Redmi Note 8 is launched in India on October 16, 2019.
