Realme Brand has announced its flagship smartphone Realme X50 Pro with 5G connectivity. Previously, it was rumoured that Realme X2 Pro‘s successor will be called Realme X3 Pro. But, the company has changed its marketing name and dubbed as Realme X50 Pro 5G where 5 represents the incoming 5G generation and 0 is for new beginnings.
In the first place, the specification of Realme X50 Pro may include 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with the resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20:9 and the pixel density of 409 PPI. It comes with a 90Hz refresh rate of the display. Above all, it is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor paired with upto 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 internal storage.
The phone runs on the Android 10 operating system with Realme UI V1.0 on top of it. It is equipped with a 4200 mAh non-removable battery with 65W SuperDart fast charger that can charge its battery fully in less than 35 minutes.
In the camera department, the Realme X50 Pro sports quad rear camera setup 64MP main camera with Samsung GW1 sensor and f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP Telephoto lens with f/2.5 aperture for 2X optical zoom, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens(119°) with f/2.3 aperture, 2MP B/W depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. In contrast, on the front, the phone arrives with hole-punch that house dual selfie cameras consisting of 32MP Sony IMX616 sensor(f/2.5 aperture) and 8MP ultra-wide lens(105 °) with f/2.2 aperture.
The phone might measure 158.96×74.24×9.36mm and weighs 207 grams. It is available in Moss Green, Rust Red colours.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G price in India starts at Rs 37,999 for the 6GB+128GB version. The 8GB+128GB version costs Rs 39,999 while the top-end 12GB+256GB version costs Rs 44,999. It will go on sale on Flipkart starting from today at 6 PM.
The Realme X50 Pro was launched in India on February 24, 2020.
