The specification of Realme 5 includes a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with the resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels at 269 ppi, 89% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 with Adreno 610 GPU paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The phone runs on Android 9.0 Pie operating system with ColorOS 6. It has a 5000 mAh non-removable battery.
In the camera department, the Realme 5 sports quad rear camera setup: 12MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture + 8MP with f/2.2 aperture + 2MP with f/2.4 aperture + 2MP with f/2.4 aperture. The front camera gets a 13MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and AI beauty, HDR.
The phone measures 164.4 x 75.6 x 9.3 mm and weighs 198 gram. It is available in Crystal Purple, Crystal Blue.
The Realme 5 price in India starts at Rs 9,999 for 3GB + 32GB variant. The other variants 4GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 11,999 respectively.
The Realme 5 was launched in India on August 20, 2019. It will go on sale for the first time on August 27 through Flipkart and Realme.com.
