POCO C40 is on the way as rebranded Redmi 10 (India)/ Redmi 10C (Global)

POCO launched the POCO C31 last year, a decent entry-level device. Now, its successor is on the way with the POCO C40 Moniker. The POCO C40 will most likely be a rebranded version of the Redmi 10, which was launched recently in India, and the Redmi 10C, which was launched globally. In this article, we will talk about the POCO C40 and its specifications.

Redmi 10C was launched globally last month. Redmi 10 (India) launched in India as a rebranded version of the Redmi 10C globally. Now, Poco C40 is on the way as a rebranded Redmi 10 (India)/ Redmi 10C (Global).

The Redmi 10C and Redmi 10(India) carry 220333QAG and 220333QBI model numbers, respectively. Now, we have spotted a new POCO global model 220333QPG on the IMEI database with the POCO C40 Moniker. This means we will likely see the POCO C40 as a rebranded version of the Redmi 10 (India) and Redmi 10C (Global). So, Poco C40 (Global) = Redmi 10C (Global) = Redmi 10 (India)?

The POCO C40, as stated before, will probably come with the same specifications as the Redmi 10 (India) and Redmi 10C (Global). The POCO C40 will feature a 6.7 IPS LCD Display with a drop notch on the top. It will likely be powered by the Snapdragon 680 chipset based on the 6nm fabrication process. It will have a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor on the rear. On the front, we may see a 5MP selfie camera, which is below average for the price.

As for the battery and charging, it will have a 6000 mAh battery and support 18W fast charging. The fast charger will be included in the box. It will also have a fingerprint scanner on the rear and feature UFS 2.2 storage. It will be available in 3 storage configurations: 3+32GB, 4+64GB, and 6+64GB.

The POCO C40 will be an excellent upgrade over the POCO C31, but the price may differ. The POCO C40 is expected to be priced around INR 10,000 in India. This price should be slightly lower than the Redmi 10 (India) as POCO usually launches rebranded phones at a lower price than Redmi.
