After the launch of the Oppo A9 in April 2019, Oppo is planning to release a new, improved variant of that device called Oppo A9x. However, before its release, we spotted the A9x on Oppo’s Chinese online store with full specifications and pricing details. Also, some high-res renders appeared on their official Chinese Store site.
Oppo A9x Specifications, Renders & Pricing
Most of the specifications of this device are the same as Oppo A9. Oppo A9x runs on a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. This device offers a 90.7% screen-to-body ratio. For display, it has a 6.53-inch IPS display with an HD+ resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. Oppo used Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the screen of this device.
For the primary camera, Oppo is offering a 48MP sensor with a 4-in-1 pixel binning & f/1.7 aperture with a 5MP secondary rear camera. For selfies, Oppo A9x is offering a 16MP sensor with AI-enabled selfie camera.
In Oppo A9x, a 4020mAh battery will come with 20W VOOC 3.0 Flash charge technology. ColorOS 6 will be running this device on top of Android Pie. For gamers, GameBoost 2.0 is offered on Oppo A9x.
Ice Jade White and Meteorite Black will be the two colors in which we will see Oppo A9x.
Regarding the price of the Oppo A9x, it will be available for CNY 1,999 in China for the 6GB RAM/128GB storage variant. The phone will be available in the Chinese market on May 21, 2019.
