Along with the Snapdragon 460 SoC, Qualcomm has launched the Snapdragon 662 processor which will be housed in affordable 4G smartphones. The Snapdragon 662 processor in first among the 600-series of Qualcomm to come with HEIF support. This will allow users to store high-quality photos at half the size. Packed with Qualcomm Kyro 260 CPU and Qualcomm Adreno 610 GPU, the processor delivers high performance and smooth experience to the users. The 3rd generation Qualcomm AI engine together with the Qualcomm Sensing Hub makes the device more responsive and easy to control and navigate through apps. Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 Processor Features
The Snapdragon 662 chip is built with 11nm Process Technology and has an octa-core CPU unit. It is built with Qualcomm Kyro 260 CPU which shows a clock speed upto 2GHz. Whereas the GPU unit of the processor is built with Qualcomm Adreno 610 GPU unit. The GPU unit will have higher graphics rendering speed in comparison to the 400-series of Qualcomm processor.
Talking about the camera unit, the processor has Qualcomm Spectra 340T image signal processor with upto three-camera setup. The primary camera sensor can capture photos upto 48MP while the other two cameras can capture photos upto 25MP. The sensor can capture slow-motion video upto 1080p at 60 fps. Additional features of the camera unit are HEIF photo capture, HEIC photo capture, HEVC video capture format. The processor is built with Qualcomm Snapdragon X11 LTE modem which supports LTE dual sim dual standby. The peak LTE download speed is upto 390 Mbps and LTE peak Upload Speed upto 150 Mbps.

The Moto G9 is one of the first smartphones to get the latest Snapdragon 662 processor. The device has a 6.5 inch Max Vision HD+ display with 1600 X 720 pixels. It has 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 512 GB through microSD card. The smartphone has a triple camera setup with 48 MP primary camera, 2MP Macro Vision Camera and 2MP Depth Vision Camera. The front panel has a waterdrop notch display housing an 8MP front camera. The Moto G9 is packed with a 5000mAh battery with 20W Turbopower charging. The handset comes in Forest Green and Sapphire Blue colour variant and priced at Rs 11,499. The device has arrived in the European market as Moto G9 Play with an exclusive Spring Pink finish.
The Oppo F17 smartphone will also house the Snapdragon 662 processor. As per reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal, the smartphone will come with a 6.44 inch Super AMOLED display and a dimension of 159.8×72.8×7.45 mm. It will pack 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The rear side will have a quad-camera setup with a 16MP main camera sensor and an 8MP secondary camera. The other two camera units are of 2MP. The front camera will be 16MP which will be housed on the waterdrop notch of the device. It will be backed by a 4000mAh battery with a 30W VOOC Flash charge. The device will arrive in three colour variants- Dynamic Orange, Navy Blue, Classic Silver. The company has not made any official announcement regarding the launch date and price of the device.
The next smartphone on the line-up is the Oppo A73. The device has been spotted on Geekbench and NBTC certification. It has scored 1,484 in the single-core test and 5,054 in the multi-core test. Galaxy Tab A7 2020
A new Galaxy Tab has been spotted on Geekbench certification recently. The Tab has the Model number SM-T505 and could be named as Galaxy Tab A7 2020. The tab will be powered by the Snapdragon 662 processor which is codenamed as ‘Bengal’. The Tab has 3GB of RAM and runs on Android 10 out of the box. The Geekbench score of the tab is 317 on the single-core test and 1358 on the multi-core test. It will reportedly feature a 10-inch display and 7,040mAh battery.
