Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO last year launched the OPPO R9S as a New Year Anniversary Edition. This year, the company also announced the same for their current OPPO R11S flagship. Today, some hands-on images of the New Year Anniversary Edition have surfaced.
The images confirm the previous design of the smartphone seen before. The device will be sporting a red color body with a golden logo. A gold rim around the dual rear cameras is placed on the top left side with a VOOC flash. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back as well.
The OPPO R11S New Year Anniversary Edition will feature the same front design. The changes are only in the rear, as stated above. The specs will likely remain the same as a 6-inch 18:9 display with a resolution of HD+ (1080 X 2160 pixels). It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with 6 GB RAM and backed by a 4,000 mAh battery. The rear cameras are 16 MP + 20 MP, while the front gets 16 MP.
Being a limited edition, the device’s price will indeed get hiked. The company has not released any word about its price or availability, but we expect it to go on sale by the end of 2017, just in time for customers to enter the New Year with a brand new limited edition smartphone.
