Oppo F11, F11 Pro, A9 & K5 Android 10 (ColorOS 7) Update Trial Version Now Available

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has released the Trial version of the ColorOS 7( Android 10) update for the Oppo F11, F11 Pro, and Oppo A9. Recently, the company has been doing pretty well in updating its devices to the latest software. The users are also getting the recent security patch update on time.

This trial version of Android 10 is the second phase of the update, the company has announced. A quota of 25,000 users has been set from India, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam for the beta update. The company has tweeted on its official Twitter page about the beta update, requesting the users to join the beta program as soon as possible. The first phase, announced in February 2020, consists of 15,000 users, of which 10,000 are for the Oppo F11 and 5,000 for the Oppo A9.

Additionally, Oppo K5 (PCNM00) users can also get the trial version of the ColorOS 7 beta update. The company has announced the second batch in China, seeking 8,000 beta testers. In the first batch, only 2,000 slots were available. Please note that you must use software version A.18 or A.19 to be eligible for the latest update.

To be a beta tester for the ColorOS 7 trial version, first of all, users must apply for it by heading over to the Device Settings > Software Updates> Trial Version. You need to fill in the required details and then tap on the Apply Now button.

Talking about the Key features, the latest Android 10-based ColorOS 7 update brings borderless design and visuals for a smoother experience. Swipe left or right to ignore banner notifications, dark mode, and focus mode. The update adds Oppo Sans font, a bubble in a floating window from the Smart Sidebar, new charging animation, and a pause function for screen recording. Additionally, it brings optimized user interfaces, 3-finger Screenshots, gestures, system pre-loaded ringtones, visual interaction, and an Album User Interface.

By opening up the ColorOS 7 trail version for Oppo F11, F11 Pro, A9, and K5 it hints at the imminent rollout of the stable version of the OS. Oppo has not announced an exact date as to when the stable update will begin rolling out to all users globally.
