Chinese smartphone manufacturer OPPO today unveiled another smartphone in its a-series. Dubbed as the OPPO A3, the smartphone comes with a massive display and follows the trend of having a top notch like the Apple iPhone X. The device comes with model number PADM00 for the all-armed version while the migrated version is marked PADT00.
As for the specs, the OPPO A3 features a 6.2 inch LTPS liquid crystal display with a resolution of FHD+ (1080 x 2280 pixels) and a pixel density of 405 PPI. Due to the top notch, the display has an aspect ratio of 19:9 which is longer than the conventional aspect ratios of 18:9 or 16:9. It is powered by a 64-bit Octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 (MT6771) processor clocked at 2.0 GHz. It is coupled with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The memory can be further expanded through the microSD slot.
In the optics department, the smartphone sports a single 16 MP camera sensor at the rear with LED flash while offering an 8 MP camera at the front for selfies and video calling. It will run on ColorOS 5.0 built on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and is backed by a 3,400 mAh battery. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4/5 GHz), Dual SIM (nano + nano/microSD) and more.
The device will first go on sale in China at a price of RMB 2099 (Rs 22,000 approx) and will be available in Knight Black, Stardust silver, Scarlet Crimson, and pea powder colour variants. Also, there is an offer of an M11 Bluetooth speaker and choice for 3 and 6 phase installments.
