A live photo of the OnePlus 8 Pro surfaced online which was captured at its headquarter, Shenzhen, China. The leaked photo of the device reveals that it will have a quad-camera setup with a glassy back panel. The three cameras are placed vertically in the center with a 3D ToF unit placed on the left side. There is an LED flash just below the camera module.
A purported spec sheet shows the primary camera of OnePlus 8 Pro 5G will be 64MP sensor. The secondary camera will be a 20MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and the third camera will be 12MP telephoto lens. The specs sheet does not show a 3D ToF unit, however, the fourth one is expected to be a 3D ToF for depth sensing. There will be punch-hole display panel housing the front camera. The cutout will be on the top left corner of the display.
The OnePlus 8 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset which is a flagship processor. Along with it, the Snapdragon X55 modem for 5G network. The different variants of the smartphone are still unknown. But leak spec sheet shows the top variant to be 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The company has not compromised with its display. OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a 120Hz refresh rate Fluid AMOLED display and a QHD+ display panel. Along with this, the company could install a MEMC chip in the device due to which users will enjoy normal content at 120Hz refresh rate. Now, the interesting fact about the device is that it will be smaller than its predecessors. OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a 6.65 inches display which is slightly smaller than its predecessor’s device OnePlus 7 Pro and OnePlus 7T Pro.
OnePlus 8 Pro is expected to pack a 32MP Sony IMX 616 selfie shooter. Also, few rumours say that there will be a secondary selfie shooter for depth sensing.
Now as we all know, OnePlus smartphones are famous for their fast-charging capacity. Hence the OnePlus 8 Pro will support warp charging technology which is, even more, faster than its predecessors. Moreover, the OnePlus 8 Pro will the first OnePlus device to support wireless charging.
