Nvidia hypes RTX 50 series with #GeForceGreats before CES 2025

NVIDIA’s RTX 50 series is something we all are excited to see at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025) next month. We even got a performance leak very recently.

Recently, this lineup of graphics cards also appeared in the announcement trailer for Witcher 4. The trailer mentions that it was rendered using an “unannounced” NVIDIA GPU. And now, the company has officially teased its RTX 50 series in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Nvidia has more in store

Alongside promoting their CES 2025 keynote, NVIDIA has also decided to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the GeForce 256, their first graphics card, with #GeForceGreats. To participate, you have to follow a bunch of NVIDIA’s social media handles and act on new prompts or instructions.

The company has many prizes in store for everyone. Also, the prize pool will only get better with more engagement. You can read more about #GeForceGreats here.

The fun doesn’t end there, though. NVIDIA is also holding a gaming event, the GeForce LAN 50. This global gaming festival will last for 50 hours, starting from January 4th at 4:30 p.m. PT.

The CES 2025 keynote will begin right after this gaming event ends, on January 6th at 6:30 p.m. PT. The list of games includes Diablo IV, The Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, The Finals, and World of Warcraft: The War Within.

To access the GeForce LAN missions, open the NVIDIA app and go to GeForce Experience. You can also use GeForce NOW and log in with your NVIDIA account there. You will then find the missions. Play any of them for 50 continuous minutes to be eligible for rewards. You can claim these rewards using the NVIDIA service you used for the first step.

All of this just goes to show how excited event the company is for the RTX 50 series. So we hope the products live up to all this hype.
