Today Ni Fei, President of Nubia Technology Co., Ltd., has published a post on the Weibo platform confirming that the Nubia Z30 Pro will be unveiled on May 20. Leaks regarding Nubia’s new Z-series phone were surfacing on the web for the past few days. Finally, Ni Fei has revealed its launch date as well as its moniker as Nubia Z30 Pro.
In Ni Fei’s long post, he said that the company has focused on the feature of mobile phone photography and the upcoming Z30 Pro will be the company’s first camera phone with a professional SLR function. He further added that it will feature a high-quality night mode for capturing the starry sky.
Though the company has not revealed its specs, we have “leaked renders” along with some of the specifications. The device is said to carry the NX667J model and it has already passed China’s 3C certification. The 3C listing reveals that it will be a 5G phone and will come with support for a 120W fast charger.
Nubia Z30 Pro leaked render has revealed that the handset will be equipped with a full-screen display with curved edges. And it will sport an under-display selfie camera. On the rear side, we will see the rectangle-shaped quad-camera setup with up to 100x digital zoom support. Under the hood, it runs on Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 888 mobile platform. We expect more details will surface once it appears in the database of TENAA certification.
