Nokia 8 Pro: Nokia raised the bar for itself after it launched the Nokia 8. HMD Global was able to bring Nokia back to the market in which it once ruled. With the MWC just around the corner, people’s expectations with Nokia are also very high now. There have been leaks here and there about the devices Nokia plans to launch this month in MWC, but a new leak has come up about a flagship device that the company plans to launch in August-September this year. This phone will be a flagship device with top-of-the-line specs and design. However, the launch is expected to happen in early Q3 of 2018.
Nokia 8 Pro Specifications (Rumored)
The name tipped from the sources about this device is ‘Nokia 8 pro’. As per sources, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 with an 18:9 display and an all-glass body design. All these leaks were previously reported about a device named Nokia 10. But it was not the Nokia 10 but the Nokia 8 Pro itself. According to some sources, the pro title suggests a better display and camera. If the tip from the source is not just a rumor, it will feature a Penta-lens camera module on the rear side. This camera is expected to be developed by Zeiss and feature a rotating zoom feature.
Nokia 8 Pro Leaked Design
Now, the sketch leaks about the device also suggest that the body of the device is curved at both ends with glass molding into an aluminum frame. The fingerprint scanner, this time, will be featured on the back side just below the camera module.
However, we need to take this news with a pinch of salt as there has not been any official news from HMD Global about such a device. The company will launch a couple of devices in MWC on 25th February, among which the most anticipated are the Nokia 9 and Nokia 7+. Following all these upcoming launches, we will have to wait until August to see if this flagship device from HMD Global becomes a reality. It will be a flagship from Nokia, and considering the Nokia 8’s price, the Nokia 8 pro will probably be launched at a price around the 40k segment(probably less).
