Nokia 8.3 5G

The Nokia 8.3 5G is the first phone from HMD Global to support 5G connectivity. The company claims it’s the “first truly global 5G smartphone,” meaning it will eventually support 5G roaming. Besides that, the Nokia 8.3 5G features a 6.81-inch FHD+ display with an Iris display chip built into it. The “Puredisplay” of this device has always-on HDR, enhanced picture quality, and absolute colour accuracy, at least that is what the company claims. The company also boasts a lot about the camera setup on this smartphone. There are four cameras at the rear in a circular pattern, a 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro sensor. The wide-angle camera is capable of capturing a 4K video in cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio. The videos can be shot in log format too, which is ideal for video editors. Other specifications include the Snapdragon 765G, 6/8GB of RAM, 64/128GB of storage, and a 4,500 mAh battery.

Nokia 8 V 5G

Nokia 8 V 5G is another 5G phone launched by HMD Global. The hardware aspect of the Nokia 8 V 5G is identical to the Nokia 8.3. We get a 6.81-inch FHD+ 120Hz LCD panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio. We also have the same Snapdragon 765G which is an upper-midrange processor from Qualcomm built on a 7nm manufacturing process. Moving on, we even get the same camera setup with a 64MP sensor, a 12MP wide-angle sensor, a 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro sensor. There are two storage options for this smartphone: 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. The difference between the 8V and 8.3 lies in the inclusion of extra mmWave antennas into the chassis for Verizon’s Ultra Wideband 5G network.
