Google launched its Android Go in May for giving Android experience in the low budget segment. Android Go aims to provide connectivity in areas where mobile network coverage is scarce, and mobile data is expensive. A lot of manufacturers from Xiaomi to HTC have tried their hands on Android Go.
As per a tweet posted by Eldar Murtazin (a Russian journalist) this time HMD Global, the maker of Nokia smartphones will be the one adopting the Android One Program and will include it on their Nokia 1 smartphone. The device will sport an HD (1280 x 720 pixels) offer 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal storage with expandable options.

The Nokia 1 smartphone will be debuting in various markets like Russia around spring next year and is expected to be priced around Rs 6,000. Smartphone wise, this will compete against the likes of Redmi 4A but will also get tough competition from the Huawei’s Android One smartphone also rumoured to launch next year.
