New Karbonn 4G Smartphones to Launch on Amazon by Airtel

Airtel plans to launch two new smartphones: A1 Indian and A41 Power

Reliance recently launched its 4G feature smartphone at Rs 1500. It has made an impact on Indian 4G phone market. To counter Jiophone, Airtel has joined hands with Indian Smartphone maker Karbonn. These two new 4G feature smartphones will launch soon. Both these phones will be available for purchase under Rs 2000. For mass distribution, Airtel has also joined hands with e-commerce giant Amazon to sell the new 4G feature smartphones.

Airtel has a history of forming a partnership with Celkon before to offer extremely budget oriented 4G phones. Airtel is now looking to expand its smartphone market by developing partnerships with local smartphone manufacturers.

Reliance Jio’s 4G feature phone is available in the market for a price of under Rs 1500. Since its launch, it disrupted the feature phone market. Jio is now even working with Spreadtrum (the chipset manufacturer) to produce incredibly budget oriented 4G phones for anyone to purchase. Vodafone India and Idea cellular is also reported to form partnerships with local smartphone manufacturers like Lava Karbonn. The price of these rumoured devices will probably be under Rs 1500, going head to head with Reliance Jio’s Jiophone and Airtel’s upcoming Karbonn phones.

A1 Indian and A41 power are the two new smartphones that Airtel plans to launch. The A1 Indian is available at a compelling prize of Rs 1799 against its market price of Rs 4390. The A41 Power is available at an effective cost of Rs. 1849 against its market price of Rs 4290. To purchase both these devices a customer needs to make a down payment of Rs 3299 and Rs 3349 for the A1 Indian and A41 power respectively. To take cash back benefit of these phones, the customer needs to recharge for 18 consecutive months. Following this, a person will get Rs 500 for the first 18 months. If the customer keeps on recharging for the next 18 months, he will get another cashback of Rs 1000. Thus, totalling to Rs 1500.

Airtel says the customers can recharge with any plan or benefit as long as the minimum amount of Recharge after 18 months turns out 3000. Then the customer will get the first cash back of Rs 500.  Following this, if the customer recharges for another 18 months and spends a minimum amount of Rs 3000 on these recharges, the customer will get Rs 1000 as a cash back. Hence after 36 months of continuous recharge, the customer will get the Rs 1500 as cashback from Bharati Airtel.
