Motorola Moto Z4 Starts Receiving Android 10 Update

Android 10 by Google has now become old news. A lot of companies like Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, etc, have already updated some of their models to Android 10. Motorola, known for its cleanest UI, is lagging compared to others in upgrading their devices to Android 10. Many Motorola phones are still waiting to feel the experience of Android 10. One such mobile is Moto Z4. The phone was launched back in 2019, and still didn’t receive the update.

Last month, one of the members of XDA claimed to have received the Android 10 update on his Moto Z4. The user strictly denied entering any beta programs of Android 10 for Moto Z4—however, no solid evidence backing up the report about the update being rolled out for the device.

But there is good news for the Moto Z4 users. In a recent development, it is sure that the update is indeed rolling out among the users. A Reddit user claims the update comes with the build version QPF30.130-15-7 and is transferred to the phone via OTA (Over The Air).

The latest software update brings Android 10 with features like new gesture navigation along with the popular dark theme. It also has new and better notification control and silent groups. To ensure that your data is protected 24/7, you have more access to security and privacy. The update comes with the latest security patches through January 1, 2020.

Since the update is pushed through OTA, it will take some time to hit all the devices. So be calm and stay tuned for the update. You can also check the update manually on your phone. Simply head over to Settings>>About Phone>>System Updates.

Talking about Moto Z4, it is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor with 4GB of RAM. The Motorola Moto Z4 on the rear packs a 48-megapixel camera and a 25-megapixel camera on the front for selfies. The phone has a juice of 3600 mAh with support of fast charging and has a display of 6.40-inch. The phone has an internal storage of 128GB and can be upgraded to 1000GB with the help of a memory card. It currently runs on Android 9 Pie and will be soon upgraded to Android 10 via OTA. So stay tuned and let us know in the comments if your phone has updated or not.
