Update July 29: Motorola Edge 20 series is now official that includes Edge 20, Edge 20 Lite and Edge 20 Pro. The series will arrive in select markets across Europe, Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East beginning next month. Since the company has not announced Edge 20 Fusion we expect the company could be gearing up to launch the Edge 20 Lite as the Edge 20 Fusion in a different market (most likely in India and Australia).
Original story follows…
Motorola will likely announce Motorola Edge 20 series on August 5. However, ahead of launch, the Edge 20 lineup has been leaked on the web that reveals renders, pricing, and specifications. Motorola Edge 20 series is said to include three handsets – Motorola Edge 20 Lite, Motorola Edge 20, and Motorola Edge 20 Pro. Now it looks Lenovo-owned Motorola will also add a fourth model in the series.
We have exclusively managed to get marketing names of the upcoming Edge 20 series of smartphones through official banners that show Motorola Edge 20 Fusion alongside Edge 20 Lite, Edge 20, and Edge 20 Pro. This suggests Motorola Edge 20 Fusion will also join the Edge 20 Series.
However, in a separate document, we found both Edge 20 Fusion and Edge 20 Lite share the same colour names. So we believe both Edge 20 Fusion and Edge 20 Lite are the same smartphones but for different markets.
Motorola Edge 20 Pro will be the premium offering among the lot while the Edge 20 Lite is said to be the cheapest of the Edge 20 series. Past leaks have revealed that the Edge 20 Pro will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset while Edge 20 and Edge 20 Lite will have Snapdragon 778G and Dimensity 720 5G respectively.
