Recently, Motorola unveiled two new smartphones, dubbed Moto G10 and Moto G30, under its G-series. Now, another G-Series device is on the way, which will be called the Moto G50. Today, we spotted a Moto G50 smartphone with model number XT2137 on the retailer’s website, which reveals its pricing details.
The listing revealed that the European variant of Moto G50 will be priced at €229.17 (roughly INR 19,920) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. It will have a Gray color option. Besides, the retail listing hasn’t revealed much about the G50.
A few days ago, the Moto G50 was also spotted on the TUV Rheinland Japan certification database with model numbers XT2137-1 and XT2137-2. The listing suggests that the Moto G50 will pack a 4850 mAh (Rated) battery and support 20W fast charging. Though Typical capacity is not mentioned in the TUV listing, we can confirm that Moto G50 will arrive with a 5000 mAh (Typical) battery.
Talking about its Processor, Geekbench listing, as well as its source code (that confirms the existence of Adreno 619 GPU and 1.8GHz base clock speed), suggests the Moto G50 will be powered by either Snapdragon 480 or 750G. However, considering its price, we believe the device will be equipped with Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. Other features include Android 11 OS and 6GB of RAM.
As of now, Motorola itself has not shared any information on the Moto G50. However, as it has already cleared various certification processes, the Moto G50 launch seems imminent. As far as the India launch is concerned, Moto G50 could launch in India as a budget 5G phone.
