Last month, Motorola launched an affordable 5G-enabled smartphone in Europe dubbed as Moto G 5G Plus. Now, it seems the device will arrive in other markets but with the different marketing name.
On August 13, a new Motorola device bearing model XT2075-2 received certification from FCC with ID IHDT56ZC2. The FCC documents reveal the device will come with 5G support. The FCC listing also mentions the battery model as LZ50 and adapter model as MC-201. These model numbers are the same as Moto G 5G Plus’s battery and adapter model. We know LZ50 battery has 5000 mAh capacity and MC-201 adapter has 20W charging output. Furthermore, Moto G 5G Plus carries XT2075-3 model number for Europe. So, the upcoming Motorola device and already announced Moto G 5G Plus shares same model number except for the last digit.
Separately, from a document, we can confirm that XT2075-2 will be called Motorola Edge Lite. The listing also mentions the FCC ID as IHDT56ZC2. So, we can conclude that Motorola Edge Lite could be rebadged Moto G 5G Plus for other markets.
Yesterday, Evan Blass tweeted that Motorola One 5G coming to AT&T in the US. However, he did not mention the model number.
Tipster Sudhanshu also tweeted that Motorola One 5G with model number XT2075-2 is in the works. This leads us to believe Moto G 5G Plus will likely arrive in the US as Motorola One 5G.
Motorola One 5G with model no XT2075-2 is in the works. The same model no has earlier appeared on TÜV Rheinland with 4700mAh battery & up to 20W charging. This smartphone could be the rumored Motorola Edge Lite#MotorolaOne5G

So, Moto G 5G Plus (Europe) = Motorola One 5G (US) = Motorola Edge Lite (Outside Europe/US)? Motorola has a history of using confusing names and model numbers for their smartphones. Only time will tell which marketing name will adopt by Motorola.
