Meizu 17 Leaked Renders Surface Online with a Curved Screen Design

The smartphone may arrive with 48MP AI triple rear camera

Meizu’s smartphones so far have steered away from using notches to achieve the high screen to body ratio. Their approach to smartphone design is a more symmetrical one. While many believe that Meizu should go for a notched display, the company just keeps launching devices with really small bezels but no notch. Now a few leaks via CNMO have come in which shows the image of the upcoming Meizu 17. This phone too has no notch, but Meizu seems to have hit a jackpot here with the design.

On the Meizu 17, we see only upper and bottom chins which are as slim as the side bezels of certain other devices. And for side bezels, we see a slightly curved display with no noticeable bezels. This clean body design ensures that a screen to body ratio of more than 90% and doing that without opting for a notch or a pop-up camera is extra-ordinary from Meizu. The front camera is still there on the slim bezel on top but judging by the size of the bezel, the camera lens there has to be Samsung’s new 43.7MP ISOCELL slim GH1 image sensor which comes with a pixel size of only 0.7μm.

Other leaks suggest that we will see a triple camera setup on the back with the 48MP sensor as the primary AI camera in that setup. As for other hardware details, we have nothing else so far. Probably a few days later more leaks about the Meizu 17 will flood in and we will have a clear idea about the hardware that lies inside this new Meizu smartphone. If this new smartphone from Meizu picks up just where the Meizu 16s Pro left off, with this design in view this will be a beauty which will capture everyone’s attention in the room for sure.
