MediaTek is going all crazy with its Dimensity series of chipsets. The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 has already reported better performance and sustenance than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. The business has now introduced a new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G chipset. The Dimensity 1300 5G has powered premium mid-range Android smartphones.
MediaTek Dimensity 1300 Specifications
Starting with the specifications of the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G chipset, it has pretty much similar specifications to the predecessor Dimensity 1200. It has a 1X “Ultra” Cortex A78 core clocked at 3.0GHz. 3X Cortex A78 core clocked at 2.6GHz as performance cores, and 4X Cortex A55 clocked at 2.0GHz as power-saving cores. The chipset has ARM Mali G77 MC9 GPU for graphic-intensive tasks and gaming.
The chipset supports up to 16GB of LPDDR4x-based RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage. It can handle the maximum possible refresh rate of up to 168Hz. It comes with MediaTek HyperEngine 5.0 gaming technology, Third generation APU, and MiraVision for videos. As for the camera capabilities of the chipset, it supports up to a single camera lens of 200MP and 4K HDR Video with a 3-exposure Fusion for dynamic range enhancements of up to 40%. It has a 5G network with 4X MIMO, 2*2 WiFi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2 support.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G
The Nord 2T smartphone was made official on May 19. A MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset powers the device. The device flaunts a 6.43-inches FHD+ AMOLED display with up to a 90Hz high refresh rate, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel secondary ultrawide, and a 2-megapixels depth sensor. It has a 32-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The device has a 4500mAh battery supporting up to 80W fast wired charging. It comes in two different variants: 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB. The Nord 2T 5G boots up on Android 12 based on OxygenOS 12.
Oppo Reno 8 5G
Oppo Reno 8 5G packs Dimensity 1300 chipset. It features a 6.43-inch FHD+ 90Hz Amoled Display. It has a triple camera system (50MP+8MP+2MP) on the rear and a 32MP front camera. The device is backed by a 4500 mAh battery with 80W charging support. The Reno 8 launched on May 23.
Vivo announced the T2x smartphone in China as the successor to the T1x. It packs a 6.58-inch Full HD+ screen with support for a 144Hz refresh rate. On the front, we see a 16MP front camera. The device has a 50 MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. It is powered by a Dimensity 1300 chipset with VC liquid cooling and 8GB of RAM.
