The successor of the LG G6 is launching in Q1 of 2018
There has been a lot of hustle recently about LG’s upcoming flagship LG G7. ET News, a South Korean publication had announced that the company will be launching the smartphone in March and will go on sale from April onwards. The same publication now has revealed the key specs of the device giving an insight into it.
According to the publishing, LG will be beginning the mass production of the smartphone in March. According to the timeline, the new LG G7 will be arriving a month late compared to its predecessor LG G6 launched last year. A South Korean Telecom operator has also claimed that the company is unlikely to launch the LG G7 at the Mobile World Congress (2018) that will be held next month. As for its competitors the Samsung S9 and the S9+ will be making an appearance there for which newly appointed the chief of LG, Hwang Jung-hwan said that the company is not worried about that, but it will be focusing on the G7 differentiation.
As for the specs, the LG G7 will have an IP68 certified body is likely to sport the same FullVision OLED display present in the LG V30 flagship. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6 GB of RAM.
The smartphone has also been listed on the company’s official website (Now Removed) which reveals the LG G7 will be coming with Fast charge Technology. The upcoming G7 appears to have support for Fast Charge 4.0 which is present in the last years Snapdragons 835 chipset. More rumoured features of this smartphone include Dual rear cameras, dual selfie cameras, iris scanner and wireless charging.
